Twin clutch kit for 1JZ / 2JZ / GE / GTE / FSE engines with BMW GS6-53DZ JGG / JGL / HB7 transmission.
STAGE1 KIT DESIGNED FOR ENGINES GENERATING UP TO 1056Nm of torque. This kit performs very well in street cars and occasional track racing. We also offer stronger clutch options for professional sports applications.
The kit includes:
- 19.5mm adapter plate made of highly durable AW7075 aluminum, twice strong as commonly used 2017A or cheap 6021 aluminum by other brands. The adapter is mounted on the engine using the original dowels and aligning holes in the transmission. The adapter is precisely machined on a CNC milling machine (DMG Mori) with a positioning accuracy of 0.01mm.
- Mounting screws for attaching the adapter to the engine and the transmission to the adapter.
- Lightweight flywheel made of a special aerospace alloy (AlMgZn+Ti) with the strength of 42CrMo4 steel. The flywheel is monolithic and includes the ring gear for the starter motor engagement.
- Two 240mm performance clutch discs with rigid backing plates reinforced by Kevlar (LUK 8090S).
- middle clutch disc friction plate made of special structural alloy steel, resistant to wear and high temperatures.
- SACHS clutch pressure plate.
- Our patented spring damping system for clutch disc vibration with automatic centering during disengagement, which is crucial for sequential transmissions and quick gear changes. CLICK TO SEE OUR SOLUTION!
- Class 12.9 flywheel bolts.
- Clutch release bearing.
